As an Estimator at Bass Built, you will play a critical role in the planning and execution of custom home and renovation projects. You'll be responsible for performing detailed cost analysis, preparing estimates, conducting site visits, and collaborating with clients to ensure that projects are accurately scoped and financially viable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed project cost estimates, including material, labor, and time requirements.
• Prepare and submit estimates, bids, and project budgets using Excel and other relevant software.
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope, verify measurements, and evaluate potential project challenges.
• Collaborate with project managers and the construction team to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.
• Understand and interpret building codes, zoning laws, and regulations to ensure compliance with local construction standards.
• Meet with clients to discuss project goals, explain estimates, and provide solutions to potential concerns.
• Assist in writing detailed contracts that clearly outline the project scope, costs, and timelines.
• Revise estimates as needed based on changes to project scope or client requests.
• Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and client communications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an estimator or in a related role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
• Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and cost estimating.
• Ability to conduct site visits, assess project conditions, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing estimates and contracts.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.

Salary and Benefits:

• Full-time, starting salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, based on experience.
• 1 week of paid vacation after 6 months; 2 weeks of paid vacation after 1 year.
